We will visit Lumbini 1stwhich is one of the most popular spots for being the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, also called the light of Asia.
Lumbini is located in the Rupandehi district of Nepal, famous for the Buddhist Pilgrimage site, where Lord Buddha was born around 543 BC. He later founded the religion called Buddhism. We can find four major attractions in the Lumbini. Lumbini is full of various temples and monasteries. Maya Devi temple is also the most popular visiting place in Lumbini. Puskarini was one of the holy ponds nearby when the mother of Gautam Buddha took a ritual dip prior to his birth. We get to visit the Kapilvastu palace and other sites near Lumbini. We can experience the religious vibes with typical Buddhism auras exploring more about the history of Buddha knowing more about the birth, achievements, and ultimate awakening. We head towards the Chitwan after exploring the Lumbini.
On reaching the Chitwan, we visit Chitwan National Park, the first UNESCO designated National Park of Nepal. Previously named Royal Chitwan National Park, it was established in 1973 and sprawl its territory over 932 sq km.
It is located in the subtropical inner Terai Low lands in Chitwan District of South-central Nepal. The lush vegetation of the Park is surrounded by Churia hill and Narayani Rivers in the north and west, respectively. We can find human settlements beyond the bank of the Rapti river. To the east is Parsa National Park.
Here we can encounter many exotic wildlife and birds in their natural environment. Sit back and enjoy the adventurous Elephant Jungle safari to explore the natural vegetation with rare animals like one-horned rhinoceros with other animals in the vast alluvial grasslands and subtropical moist deciduous forests. If lucky, we can even discover the elusive, The Royal Bengal Tiger.
